Tower Blocks and green space
(Documentry)
Looking at the tower blocks in Bristol and photographing them in conjunction with the green space around them. Taking a look into the ways green space has been used in and around the tower block areas. Examining the different levels of prominence green space has in different areas and the ways in which it works with/for the blocks and there inhabitants.

People and the spaces in which they live (Documentry/Portraiture)
Looking at the different living conditions of people in and around Bristol. Photographing the inhabitants and the places in which they inhabit. Covering a broad spectrum of people and classes e.g. wealthy middle class people in a large comfortable home, student both in halls and homes, homeless people and the places they stay etc. Looking at the way we as humans interact with the place we live and stay.

The skate scene

Photographing the skateboarding scene in Bristol. Looking at the subculture as a whole, photographing more than just the actual skateboarding but the lifestyle of the people involved.

Idea 5
Lifestyle
(Documentry/Lifestyle/Reportage)
Documenting my everyday life. Constantly carrying a camera and shooting. The images would then be compiled and the best images would be put into the zine. This book would be a social commentary on the lifestyle of people in bristol, young people, students, artists etc.
Similar to the work of 'Nighted' in the zine strangers I know.

Fashion

Taking a look into the fashion on the streets of Bristol. Examining the different subcultures, styles, brands and looks across the city.
Similar to I-D straight ups.

- I haven't got that much experience in fashion photography so this would be good
- There is so much good fashion in Bristol so there would be a lot of subject matter

- As I have little experience they images may not be as good as certain other themes
Idea 7
Pocket content
(Portraiture)
Photographing the contents of peoples pockets or bags. This project will contemplate whether you can determine who a person is by the things they carry in there day to day life. The images of the items will be accompanied by another image this could be:
-An image of the back of their heads
-A close up shot of the clothes they are wearing
-An close up image of their hands
-All the items held in the subjects hands
